WHAT MATTERS TO ME
HOUSING & ECONOMIC
DEVELOPMENT
Both rents and property taxes are skyrocketing. In my own community, I’ve seen many long-time residents pushed out of their homes, while younger families can’t afford to purchase homes in the towns they were raised in. Housing costs are too high, and inadequate public transportation hurts workers and the businesses that employ them. I’ll fight neighborhood blight and champion initiatives such as aging-in-place home modifications, ADUs, microtransit, and the sustainable adaptive reuse of historic buildings. I’ll advocate for West-East Rail and support small businesses and local entrepreneurs to thrive.
EDUCATION & HEALTHCARE
Public education is vital to our communities, and we must address inadequate childcare options and mental health services. Ensuring rural schools receive their fair share of education funding from Boston will be a top priority for me. I will fight to lower the cost of early education and childcare for families, bring equity to the state's school choice law, and support local healthcare providers. Additionally, I will support increased funding for substance use programs, incentives to educate more nurses locally, and efforts to retain healthcare providers.
OUR CLIMATE AND FARMING
We must mitigate the climate crisis immediately. We must protect and restore our natural resources and wildlife while moving towards a green economy. By investing in renewable energy, natural climate solutions, and decarbonization, we can create good-paying jobs that make a difference. I will support small farms, community land trusts, and regenerative agriculture*
*I am committed to regenerative agriculture and making this holistic, systems-based approach to farming viable across the district. I strongly recommend watching the documentary Common Ground and supporting community partners such as BEAT (Berkshire Environmental Action Team), Berkshire Agriculture Ventures, Greenagers, and Berkshire Community Land Trust
VETERANS & SENIORS
We must honor our commitment
to veterans and seniors by funding local organizations that provide services for aging-in-place, food
assistance, and transportation. I’ll support tax cuts for seniors and veterans to offset rising costs
and ensure they can remain in their homes with dignity and respect. I’ll fight any and all cuts to Medicare
funding or benefits.

I'll fight for better representation and funding from Boston for our infrastructure, broadband, and transportation. I'll work hard to improve regional efficiencies and outcomes.
